Chinese Cooking Classes at ICE and the Brooklyn Kitchen in New York City

If you’d like to have a hands-on learning experience in cooking authentic Chinese food, then join me at my cooking classes at the Institute of Culinary Education and at the Brooklyn Kitchen in New York City.

At the “The Complete Chinese Dinner” class on February 1st you will learn a variety of Chinese cooking techniques such as braising, stir-frying, steaming and soup making. This class will also include a Shanghainese New Year noodles dish to help celebrate the Chinese New Year.

At the “Discovering Dumplings” class on March 1st you will learn to make eight different kinds of dumplings from various regions of China including pork shiumai, Cantonese wontons, pot stickers and Shanghai soup dumplings.

At the “Stir-frying Demystified” class on April 28th I will show you a variety of common stir-frying techniques, and how to identify and combine different Chinese ingredients suitable for stir-frying.
